Our partner, Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS), will participate in the Frontiers in Low Temperature Plasma Diagnostics (FLTPD) workshop, which will take place from 12 to 16 April 2026 in Kerkrade, Netherlands.
During the event, CNRS will present the contribution entitled: “Aerosol Jet Printed nanosecond Dielectric Barrier Discharge plasma actuator (AJP-ns-DBD) in atmospheric pressure air: ICCD imaging.”
This work is the result of a close collaboration between CNRS and Centre for Research & Technology Hellas (CERTH), combining expertise in plasma physics, advanced manufacturing techniques, and high-speed plasma diagnostics. The study explores the development and characterisation of an aerosol jet printed nanosecond dielectric barrier discharge plasma actuator operating in atmospheric pressure air, with a focus on ICCD imaging to better understand discharge behavior and plasma dynamics.
The 16th FLTPD workshop will gather leading scientists, researchers, and industry experts from around the world to discuss the latest advances in plasma diagnostics, modelling, and applications. The conference places particular emphasis on strengthening the fundamental understanding of low-temperature plasmas while highlighting innovative technologies and emerging applications across multiple sectors.
For the CAIPIRINH3A Project, where plasma-based processes are central to technological development and innovation, participation in international events such as FLTPD is essential. These meetings provide a valuable platform to disseminate results, exchange ideas, foster collaborations, and reinforce connections within the global plasma research community.
