Cardiff University was one of the co-organisers of the 4th Symposium on Ammonia Energy (SOAE), USA. SOAE is a globally recognised international forum where professionals from diverse fields exchange knowledge and present innovative solutions to address the complex challenges of ammonia in production, storage, transportation, utilisation, environmental impact, and safety.
Dr. Agustin Valera-Medina presented research on boilers and novel plasma-assisted concepts for enhancing ammonia combustion, showcasing CAIPIRINH3A’s early findings and outlining future directions. The presentation drew strong interest from specialists across Japan, South Korea, and North America, and attracted the attention of potential partners eager to learn more about the program—an exciting opportunity to expand CAIPIRINH3A’s global outreach.
