Dr. Konstantinos Kourtzanidis (ARTEMIS Laboratory, CPERI/CERTH) gave an Invited Seminar within the French Cold Plasma Network (Réseau Plasma Froid) series, hosted at the Laboratory of Process and Materials Sciences (LSPM CNRS UPR 3407 – Université Sorbonne Paris Nord).
His talk, “Understanding Plasma Dynamics through Multi-Dimensional Modeling: Significance, Challenges and Prospects Beyond Global Models”, was attended both in person and online by students, researchers, and academics from various countries.
As plasma modeling is central to CAIPIRINH3A for understanding plasma dynamics and combustion effects, Dr. Kourtzanidis included a one-slide overview of the project and presented a recent joint publication with CNRS on modeling nanosecond pulsed fast ionization waves [1]. Flyers of CAIPIRINH3A were also distributed to participants.
